Support the small businesses, non-profits, and cultural institutions that make our neighborhood so special through our West Philly Forward fundraising campaign.
In his latest piece, food critic Craig LaBan includes Booker's Restaurant and Bar on his list of restaurants with "reimagined outdoor spaces and unforgettable meals:" He writes, "I’ve especially appreciated its carefully constructed outdoor setup, easily one of the best in West Philly. Our new #WestPhillyForward campaign is raising money for local businesses and organizations in need. If you have the means, please consider lending your support to benefit neighborhood spots! You can choose to donate directly to specific businesses or organizations, or to a general fund we are maintaining which we will then disperse among all participating businesses and organizations.
The Acme at 40th and Walnut will open on October 23rd, and will feature poke bowls, sushi party platters, barbecue dishes, wine, beer, and a salad-making "robot" named Sally.
