For those who may not of heard Upward Sports Ministry has been affected by more than COVID this season. We lost a true hero, Coach Mike has been a huge asset, jokester, friend and coach for 6 years here at Upward. Harold, Pastor Mike, Ben and I can defiantly say that his welcome in heaven was amazing...the lives he touch, the many people he gave of his life and talents, and testimony of how God can use anyone willing to give! I am sharing this post for anyone interested i...n helping the family out during this very difficult time, and to most importantly pray for them. Looking UPward, Lisa

UPWARD BASKETBALL 2020-21 IS CANCELLED Dear Friends, As many of you can expect it is difficult to make decisions that affect 170 families. Due to staffing issues and the contagiousness of the virus we are making a very difficult decision to cancel this season. Postponing the season just does not feel like the safest thing to do at this time. Plus, it will impact our soccer season. ... We are able to get a full refund from Upward Sports. After we box up, return everything and they receive everything unused; they will refund our money. Our accountant will be getting those checks out to everyone when we receive the refund. With the holiday it will be after the first of January. Checks will be made payable to the parent/guardian first listed on the child’s registration form. For those who have children playing soccer; you have the option to turn your registration refund over to the Upward Soccer season that begins in March 2021. All you have to do is email me back with your child’s name and yes we are playing Upward Soccer 2021. Thank you for your willingness to travel with us, I am very much going to miss everyone this season. May you and your families have a very blessed and safe Christmas and a Happy New Year.
