It's volunteer appreciation week, and we are so grateful for all that they do to help us help the animals in our care (stay tuned for more on that), including a...mazing photoshoots like this! Completely volunteer driven, these adorable photoshoots started in 2019 to help market our pups a bit better and have helped countless dogs find homes and rescue. Today, we're hoping it will not just help these pups find homes, but also one of our cats! Please take a look at the many dogs, cat, (and a few turtles and a duck) who either need homes or rescue. Don’t forget it’s not just dogs!! We save lots of small critters every year! Right now we have a bunch of buns! These cities would all love to be house bunnies ...and are now use to lots of handling! We have assorted random breeds/mixes. Our rabbits are either pulled ftom ACCT shelter or owner surrenders. All rabbits/bunnies are $200. All rabbits are required to be spayed or neutered. All surgeries are performed at Hatfield Vet Clinic. Healthy animals are observed for at minimum 2 weeks to 2 months prior to being placed for adoption to identify health status, temperament, and any particular needs. The bunnies are handled daily to prepare them for life with a family. To adopt please reply with pics of home snd pics of your rabbits potential new enclosure!

Sweet little Pudgey was returned to us the next day after being adopted for having fleas Pudgey was on preventative which she received at the clinic at the ti...me of spay but unfortunately she still got fleas. Her adopters took her to the ER that night where the vet gave them paperwork saying Pudgey was unfit for purchase and they demanded she be picked up the next day or they would call a lawyer Just another day in rescue, one of our volunteers went to get Pudgey after work and bring her to Mt Laurel Animal Hospital because despite being treated AGAIN for fleas at the other ER, she still had them. On top of that, she seemed a little off. The compassionate and caring vets and staff at Mount Laurel ran bloodwork and found Pudgey was anemic. They gave her a blood transfusion and thankfully her RBC went up and has been holding steady since. They also dod x-rays and found she had some debris in her intestines. The doctor explained that sometimes anemia can cause them to eat odd things like litter or dirt. She received fluids and had been defecating normally so they were confident this would pass. Pudgey will be leaving them vet hospital tonight and heading to foster care wirh one of our lead volunteers here she will continue to get lots of TLC . We desperately need help to cover this bill for Pudgey. We are a small volunteer run 501c3 and due to covid, we have been struggling a lot this year. Coconut is an extremely affectionate young adult cat looking for a home. She loves attention, sitting with you, rubbing her head on you, and being pet. She still needs to gain some weight, but she will always be a small cat. She is playful, curious and entertaining. She comes when called and is a good hunter. Her only flaw is that she is not a big fan of other animals, but may be able to coexist. She is about 2 years old. She is located in Philadelphia, PA and has a $30 adoption fee. UPDATES ON BONO THE FRENCHIE & STUMPY: BONO: He is staying at vet for a while probably a week while he had blood tests, sees the neuro, is monitored and opthomo...logist sunday. If a foster experienced with blind dogs and bull dogs is available please let us know immediately. From initial exam no obvious cause of blindness and partial deafness. Parvo negative..tested due to regurgitating. Vomiting and diarrhea is stress related due to going blind and deaf. No wobbling, a tiny head tilt but nothing else neurological seen. All tick bourne illnesses being checked, retinas, toxins, etc. No explanation as of now. STUMPY is a girl, so matted couldn't tell. Needs to be sedated to be shaved and nails ate curled and embedded in pads/paws. She is being fixed up at the vet. They are checking her eyes and teeth may not be as old as thought just severely neglected. Pain in back leg originally thought broken but doesn't seem to be, is having xrays tonight and spending night at vet. She MAY be able to leave tomorrow. We NEED a foster. She is maybe a mix if maltese/poodle/bishon. She is scared. She allowed a full exam and handling but got snippy when dr went to back leg where she is sore. We assume that is just because she is in pain. She needs tlc and love and a place to decompress not chaotic. Possibly TOMORROW!
