Friday, September 11, 2020, we are going have our annual 9/11 Memorial liftoff with America One plus other colorful Hot Air Balloons. This year, we have reserved the Ludwig's Corner Horsehow grounds in Ludwig's Corner, West Vincent Township, Chester County, PA. Open to the public, the start of the ceremony will be around 4:45pm. Launch time will be between 5:15 pm and 6:15 pm, depending upon wind conditions. If the weather does not cooperate, we will postpone until the next d...ay, September 12 at the same time. Come out and remember all of those we lost that day. Bring the entire family. As the balloons fly away, consider the freedoms and liberties we have in this country that others can only dream about. Admission is free. Parking is $10 per vehicle to cover part of our costs.

Another event cancelled for the year that didn't exist.

It is with a heavy heart that the US Flag Balloon Team announces that Trouble the cat passed away last night. He quietly slipped the bounds of Earth and has gone on his next big adventure on the other side, to be with his sidekick, DC (Deaf Cat). Trouble came to us as the runt of the litter and ended up being the biggest cat of the bunch, weighing in at 24 pounds. He carried the weight well. Like a linebacker, he was swift and powerful. He was a handsome cat with great intell...igence and well mannered, with a certain swagger that let you know he was confident. He was also a big fan of Sting, and sometimes people tthought that they were twins. He would cuddle up and sleep with Barry on the couch and his love was unquestionable. He will live on as the legendary cat looking out the window of the Flighthouse, much like he did at his home. Every time we fly Flighthouse, we will be reminded of how much Trouble meant to us and how much joy he brought to our lives for 18 years. He has been with us all but one year of the Special Shape balloons, which started in 2002 with the Flag. This year, most balloon festivals are gone, and now, so is Trouble the Cat. We already miss him terribly.

Cleaning out a closet and found a bunch of Vintage T-shirts of various sizes, long and short sleeve. Who wants them? Pay shipping. If anyone wants a specific one, it's $5 plus shipping. Big pain to be separating this bunch out, making the label and shipping.

I was just informed that Peter King, legendary balloon pilot in New Zealand has passed away. Godspeed Peter. You are the greatest!
