The Hornets STEAM Academy produced and performed a ‘70s themed talent show yesterday! In the month leading up to the show, they researched about the decade and ...completed numerous projects inspired by the time period. They built set pieces and created decorations, planned acts for the show, and organized the performances themselves! The Ionta elementary READ program attended as their audience (and showed up with handmade signs with words of encouragement to wave). They were entertained with comedic acts, dances and air guitar performances, a live science experiment, and an instrument showcase! This Saturday, February 6, at around 11am the Mercer VFW Post 6345 will have food donations boxes to give away for anyone in need...Veterans, unemployed, elderly or disabled. Please be sure to check in at the bar when you arrive.

She was joined by her daughter Cadet Captain Addison Coburn of the Civil Air Patr...ol, and together they discussed principles that affect flight.
