Happy Father's Day! Our lives have been blessed with men who have loved us, cared for us, taught us, and looked out for us. Especially our Father in Heaven For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
So grateful for our member, Jeffry Brown, for sharing his beautiful musical talents at the county vaccination sites.

Dear members and friends of the Valley Forge Stake, It seems a long time since March 2020 when we had to cancel stake conference, sacrament meetings, and other Church activities. We’ve been so impressed with your adaptability as you have adjusted to each new challenge that the pandemic has created and touched by your unity as you have shown support to each other. There have been countless examples of sacrifice and service which were so important in providing temporal and spi...ritual sustenance throughout our Church community. We have come so far together through these darkest of times and it is with a combination of relief and excitement that we can see the light at the end of this tunnel. Today we are announcing that we no longer have limitations on the number of attendees at our meetings and activities. Out of concern for all members of our community, many of whom are in the process of being vaccinated, we will keep some of the well-practiced safety precautions in place for the month of June. Where practical, this will include social distancing, mask wearing, and refraining from singing. On July 4 th we expect to be lifting the requirement to wear masks for all members and we will begin singing again. We have asked the Bishops to plan to sing Hymn #60, Battle Hymn of the Republic, as the opening hymn on July 4 th . We are hoping we can all unite in joyous praise and devotion as we celebrate our Savior’s victory over the grave, our country’s independence, and the return of worship through singing on that day. We encourage you to practice the hymn at home in preparation! We love you and we pray for you. May the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him and each other. Sincerely yours, The Valley Forge Stake Presidency

We hope you are all enjoying a wonderful Christmas Day, celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ with those who matter most to you (either in person safely or virtually). A young gentleman from the Downingtown ward, Asa Johnson, is privileged to share his talents with the Philadelphia Boys Choir, who have recorded their concert virtually. Thank you so much to everyone who attended the virtual awards! The warmth and fellowship in the virtual space was so evident, and we are so grateful to our honorees, our sponsors, our visiting artists, and everyone who helped to make the night possible.
Today is Women’s Equality Day in the United States. This year it is an especially important day because we are celebrating 100 years since the adoption of the 19th amendment to the United States Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. Today is important to me because I am reminded of the foundational work done by Relief Society sisters and suffragists who worked tirelessly to make a difference.

Happy Father's Day! Today we celebrate and recognize the importance of fathers and father figures in our families and communities. Especially in these difficult times, we honor those that are working to create peace in our world. As the Stake Presidency wrote in their recent message to members of the stake, "We hope to model a higher ethical code. We want to promote kindness, love, and respect for all of God's children. We want to create a safe place, a peaceful haven where everyone can grow closer to Christ. We hope that as a member of our community each of you feel loved and cared for." We also know there are many who struggle on Father's Day, for a variety of reasons, and hope they are also able to find peace in some way.

May we take the time this Memorial Day to remember and honor the men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces and gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country. Below is a performance of a medley "A Tribute to the Armed Services" by the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. The words of Katherine Lee Bates, penned in her beloved "America the Beautiful", stand out in particular on this day: "O beautiful for heroes proved In liberating strife, Who more... than self their country loved And mercy more than life!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mbs_3aymg-g
