Valley View Mennonite Church

Today we are looking at John 1 and Luke 1. The second Sunday of Advent.

We are exploring the book of Joshua. Next week we will be exploring the Gospels as we are introduced to Jesus our savior.

The key chapters on scripture that we will be focusing on are Numbers 25 & 26, and Deuteronomy chapters 4,6,8,9, & 29-34. Next Sunday the doors of the church will be open. Please feel free to attend in person. We ask you to use precaution and to practice safe distancing to the best of your ability. Our Sunday School lesson will be 1 Samuel using the Bible Project Video as our base for discussion. Next Sunday's sermon will be "The Story: Chapter 7: The Battle Begins". This will begin our Advent Series. We will be leaving "The Story" after next week for a short time, focusing our hearts on the four Gospels. The goal is highlighting man's need for a relationship with God, and how that relationship was facilitated through the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
