ICYMI: On December 2, 2019, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) extended the deadline to provide copies of Form 1095-C for 2019 to full-time employees. The extension pushes the issuance deadline back 30 days to March 2, 2020. The original issuance deadline was January 31, 2020. Also announced in conjunction with the issuance extension was new transition relief that recognizes the practical implications of the federal elimination of the individual mandate effective January 1, 2019. It’s time to sharpen your pencils (again)! The Department of Labor (DOL) has finalized an increase to the salary threshold for overtime eligibility from $23,660 per year to $35,568. This increase is slightly higher than the $35,308 threshold proposed in March. Check out the link to read more about the new #overtime rule and what it means for you and your organization.
