A good investigative report on allegations that CDC suppressed information that would qualify as scientific proof that there is a link between MMR administration and autism. The journalist states: "This does not mean the MMR is unsafe for everyone." The significance of the whistleblower information is that we don't have all the information we could about potential risks, and how to avoid that risk. Armed with information, parents and doctors can make better informed decisions... for children. If you are curious about the #CDCWhistleblower, or have asked "where's the science?", or believe that the "science is settled," or you have not questioned how the science becomes settled and what process the government goes through to stamp a seal of approval on medical treatment and public health policy, this is a good 20-minute video explaining things might not be the way they appear on the surface. The whistleblower works at the CDC. He worked on the study where he claims information about a statistically significant link between rates of autism and MMR administration in certain populations (particularly African American males) and during certain timeframes (younger than 24 mos) was suppressed prior to publication. This is information your doctor relies on, congress relied on, the IOM relied on, and so on.
