Venango Museum of Art, Science & Industry 15.12.2020

2020 has thrown some curves in our concert lineup. With funding provided by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council, we were able to film a virtual concert for all in our community affected by the hardships of this year. Nathaniel Licht performs on the museum's very own 1928 Wurlitzer Theater Organ, originally from the Latonia Theater located on Oil City's South Side. Enjoy the concert by clicking below or by visiting our website at: https://www.venangomuseum.org/wurlitzer-theatre-organ

Check out this video of Nathaniel Licht performing a medley of songs from "The Sound of Music" on our very own Wurlitzer Theater Organ! The Museum acquired the Latonia Theater's 1928 Wurlitzer organ in 1988. Thousands of hours of volunteer and professional labor were required to restore the organ, which includes more than 600 separate pipes, as well as numerous sound effects and percussion instruments.
