We vowed to drink it one day when the company hit a significant business milestone we had set. Well, we forgot to drink it and that certain milestone was doubled at the time of uncorking. Funny how we forget to celebrate along the way when we’re busy building and goals seem so far away when they’re set. My dad le...ft retirement in 2013 to help me build VERY. He said he’d give me a year to get the business off the ground. We had too much fun working together to stop after a year! I learned countless things from him, the most significant to me was how to manage people, a skill I frankly stunk at when I got started. Heading back to retirement, I hope he’s full of wonderful memories from our time working together and enormous pride that with his help, I’ve surpassed every goal I’ve set. Thank you, Dad. You have always given me confidence, but you gave me the kick I needed to take a risk on myself and your support never wavered. Now enjoy every minute of not having a schedule!
