EPSA Amateur Cup match this coming Sunday. Top two teams in Eastern Pennsylvania square off at VE. Kick off is at 2:00 p.m. sharp. Make sure you come out to cheer our team on!

Our U15 Kanoniere hosted Real New Jersey Saturday night playing under the lights to a capacity crowd. After a hotly contested first half neither team could find the net, however Mike Regan’s opening goal got the VE boys turning up the heat and Enzo Pettruzzelli added a PK and a left footed blast to see the home team beat the 11th ranked team in the USA 3-0. We’ve got high expectations for this group and are thrilled to see their progress. Great work players and coaches.

Our 2002 VE Gunners have many players wrapping up their high school seasons this week, and in most cases their senior year. Most of these guys progressed up through our program and we wish them the best.

The Timbers U14 boys won their first ever tournament, the Jack Walsh tournament. In the group stage the boys did not concede a goal and put up four goals. The Championship game we played against ICSL opponent Solebury Galaxy. The first goal came to the timbers through Josh Laskowski who perfectly placed a ball in the net after a nice cross from Nick Armitage. 10 seconds before half Solebury was able to tie the game up. Ultimately after a back and forth overtime, the game went to penalty kicks. Goal keeper Keegan Courduff saved 4 of 5 penalty kicks and Nick Armitage put the final penalty kick away for the timbers first tournament championship win.

We were disappointed that we were not able to have our Mighty Mites program this fall due to Covid-19, however we are offering a free training session this Saturday for boys and girls born in 2014. This session is being offered to interested families who are considering playing travel soccer next fall at VE. WHEN: Saturday, October 10th TIME: 10:00 - 11:00 for GIRLS / 11:00 - 12:00p.m. for BOYS WHERE: VE Turf Field (next to the club swimming pool)... All players able to make it will need to have a Covid-19 waiver completed to be able to participate. You can bring it with you on Saturday.
