Let’s clear up the flotation devise issue. 1. Only Coast Guard approved life vests that have a strap that buckles between the child’s legs are permitted. 2. ALL other flotation devises are prohibited. That includes floaties, water wings, inner tubes and puddle jumpers UNLESS they have a tag or stamped wording stating Coast Guard Approved. 3. Any child wearing a Coast Guard approved life vest MUST be within an arms reach of an adult at all times. ... 4. You MUST be able to SWIM to use both slides. 5. Zipline is for Children ONLY. Rules for the winding slide and 3 chute slide will be posted at the pool. There will be a height requirement posted also.

The Veterans' Memorial Pool at Lynch Field in Greensburg is currently under renovation! While we still have a lot of work to complete before summer arrives, please be reassured that we are working as quick as possible! We experienced the wettest fall and winter in western Pennsylvania that we can recall and several projects were delayed with the continuous rain. That said we are doing everything possible to "catch up"! In years past we opened the pool on the last day of schoo...l for Greensburg Salem SD. At this point in time, that is still the plan.
