We have been given a part to play in His Beautiful story of redemption, and we can't let a second go to waste. VidaNet works all throughout Central America, from the conviction to walk alongside individuals to guide them into deeper discipleship with Jesus, and to see them then go and walk alongside others. Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Feliz navidad a todos de parte de la familia VidaNet!
2020 has been a year to remember, or maybe one you would like to forget. This year we have been brought back to basics, back to the vision. A vision to see discipleship become a necessity. A vision that can't move forward without YOU. Will you stand with us to carry on the vision?
Tamales are a Costa Rican tradition during Christmas time! They are a corn based dough with carrots, red pepper, and other goodies with chicken or pork! Then they are wrapped in banana leaves and boiled! Every year we have a tamaleada with everybody in the ministry and we make a bunch of tamales! This year was no exception! Today we ate the tamales we made yesterday and had a white elephant gift exchange! Needless to say, we had lots of fun! Happy holidays everybody!

In case you missed it, read this month's newsletter about El Nido! El Nido, meaning ‘the nest’ is a safe place in times of refuge. Nothing has been more true this year than the necessity of a place for refuge. El Nido is a ministry that by the grace of God has continued to work, offering support to all these moms who for one reason or another have been vulnerable to a critical situation in their lives. (Mothers heads of households, unplanned pregnancies, intrafamily and domes...tic violence, unemployment, family abandonment, etc ..) A nest is a shelter from the storms and difficulties around us. But it is also a place to grow and learn under someone’s wing... Sign up on our website to receive next month's newsletter!
Have you read this month's story from Austin Zuercher? Sign up on our website to receive our monthly newsletter. "Kairos. One of the two greek words meaning time. Specifically, Kairos, means the opportune, the critical time. For followers of Jesus it means God’s moment or God’s timing. It’s difficult in the moment to tell when you are in a Kairos; however, I believe that’s where we are in world history, and where VidaNet is as a ministry in Central America..."
