#AsktheGrad: Annie McDermott '21 My experiential learning opportunities will stick with me the most. I was able to advance meaningful legal work with the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services (CARES), the The Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation at Villanova Law and the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. These externships formed practical legal skills I keep with me still. Read what other members of the Class of 2021 had to say about their #VillanovaLaw experiences! #VillanovaLaw2021 #NovaGrad2021

Prof. Steve Chanenson received this year’s Diane E. Ambler '78 Faculty Curricular Innovation Award, presented annually to a full-time faculty member who has distinguished themself through the creation and implementation of positive educational developments. Prof. Chanenson was recognized for his work on the Villanova Sentencing Workshop, which will celebrate its 20th year this coming academic year. This program has influenced the way that Villanova Law connects pedagogy to real world practice, and has made a lasting effect on students, faculty and the Pennsylvania criminal legal system.
