I find it absolutely ridiculous that if you want to adopt a dog and give it a loving home that you can't adopt without a vet reference. If you've grown up with and had dogs and taken care of them why does it have to be in your name? Wonder why the shelters are full because of this nonscence. The shelters shouldn't cry about lack of supplies when they won't give people dogs that would love them.
