Dr. Michael Cross makes a good point on the excess of blue light on handheld devices and the application of blue blocking lenses as a preventative measure. (see the link below) As some commented how will you ever know the benefits if it is 50 years hence. As with all preventative measures it is hard to prove a negative. But we believe there are subtle short term benefits in improved performance and attention. What is unique about handhelds over TV is the closeness. Th...e effect of the damaging energy goes up exponentially the closer the device. The bigger issue we believe is developmentally. Children move less and less and these devices distract them from developing gross motor skills and getting much needed exercise. Run, catch, jump, play, dance, and compete, these are sound activities to developing a healthy child. http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com//blue-light-could-lead-maj/

Wow! As birds see magnetic north to help navigate and set their circadian rhythm with blue light, does excessive blue light disrupt human sleep patterns and other orientations??? Click the link below for a demonstration of magnetoreception. https://www.sciencealert.com/birds-see-magnetic-fields-cryp
