Here we go again. Faced with a surge in COVID-19 numbers, Pennsylvania issued new mitigation efforts starting on Saturday, December 12, 2020. While not as restrictive as those enforced in the spring, these measures will have dire consequences for the hospitality industry, especially our restaurants. Per the mandate, restaurants are restricted to curbside pick-up and outdoor dining through January 4, 2021. The holiday season is usually a busy and lucrative time for restauran...ts. This year, restaurants and staff will make only a fraction of their anticipated earnings. Many employees are finding it hard to pay mortgages or put food on their tables, let alone buy Christmas gifts for their kids. We can help our restaurants during this difficult time by opting for Take-Out as often as possible. Forget about fast-food restaurants. Order Take-out from one of our local restaurants instead. Use a local delivery service and if you pick it up yourself, don’t forget to tip! (Pass on Starbucks and offer your savings as a tip instead.) This is important. Our restaurants need our help. Eat Out, Take-Out, Eat Local!
