Spending lots of money on anti-aging creams and skin lotions? Then I have bad news for you they don’t make your skin any younger. They can make your skin a little tighter and more hydrated temporarily (WTH!). One study found some creams will reduce wrinkles by less than 10% over a 12 week period of daily applications. This isn’t very noticeable AT ALL unless you’re looking at your wallet and wondering where your money went. ... So how do we slow down the aging of our skin for real? It’s all about the concept of Inside Out vs. Outside In. Your skin like everything else in your body is generated from WITHIN. So what do you have to address to improve it? First and foremost, your digestion. No matter what you take in, it doesn’t matter if you’re not absorbing it in the first place. Certain nutrients play key roles in your skin health. Such as Vitamin A, E, C, B3, and Biotin. These all play a role in either building up, repairing, or preventing oxidation on your skin. Those expensive creams commonly use synthetic versions of these (along with a long list of chemicals the beauty industry DOES NOT have to prove safe for us). However, synthetic versions of these vitamins are not the same as the real thing. Next time you’re considering one of those fancy lotions, potions or creams consider addressing the root cause of what’s actually aging your skin before dropping hundreds of dollars on these.

I cringe going back to the same ol’ New Year’s resolution to lose weight so I can feel good in my own body again nothing seems to work, and gyms aren’t even open right now anyway, so screw it! Annie was crushed. For the past six years, she went through the same resolution but with a different type of effort.... Join a gym Buy a treadmill Purchase meal plans Live on shakes that may rhyme with Rice-a-genix... Even if she saw some results at first, she would quickly fall back into old habits watching the ball drop on the year AND on her resolution from twelve months prior. And she was on the brink of giving up when she spoke to me. It sucks! My body just doesn’t want to change I guess. But she guessed wrong. The reality about slimming down is this You can’t FORCE your body to get results, you have to work WITH it instead. So what does that mean? Happy to explain! It’s about applying strategies based on our feminine biology so you can control your ability to burn body fat. Managing your weight is much like putting together a puzzle. All the pieces are needed to get the total picture. For example, there are a lot of factors that come into play when you eat, like Are those meals breaking down and being absorbed in the first place? Is that food being efficiently used as fuel OR being stored as fat instead? Are imbalances going on behind the scenes holding up a big stop sign on any fat burning? All of these puzzle pieces (and many more) need to be considered. So many women put in the effort to slim down only to be disappointed with minimal results (if any), and they start to think there’s no way out. But I promise that’s not the case! All the pieces just have to be in place. Makes sense, right? Annie was so relieved when she realized this her frustration above was from LAST year. Her New Year’s resolution this year?
