My brand story: The name Vivaer comes from the French word vive meaning life and the Irish word aer meaning air. I pull a lot of inspiration from my Celtic heritage and from nature. Many of my items are upcycled to also create more sustainable product. The goal is to make unique items that are beautiful while helping the environment. Vivaer is a line of clothing and accessories that were inspired by my desire to maximize the usage of materials. As a seamstress there are often beautiful left over pieces of fabric that I hate to throw away. Through the creation of Vivaer I am able to make my business more sustainable for the environment. Vivaer also gives me the opportunity to stretch myself creatively.
