Today we're throwing it back to last year's Pumpkin Carving Contest at the Wanamaker Building, when our tenants came together to show off their creative pumpkin carving skills for a chance at fame, glory and bragging rights! This year's festivities are cancelled, but we'll be back better than ever in 2021.

Mark those calendars and call for takeout! Vegan Restaurant Week has begun. For one week, restaurants around Philly will offer a special menu item or a prix fixe vegan menu consisting of dishes that best represent that establishment. A portion of the proceeds from the week will be donated a local animal advocacy nonprofit. More details at PhillyVRW.com.

Did you know that women own 40 percent of privately owned companies and employ almost 9 million people? Monday marks the start of National Business Women’s Week, which focuses on women’s accomplishments in business and contributions to the economy. The first National Business Women’s Week was in 1928, but it wasn’t until 1938 that the week was officially recognized and celebrated every year since. #BusinessWomensWeek

Ready for a lunch break? Check out the final Live@Lunch at Dilworth Park tomorrow from 12-1pm! Presented by PNC, this free outdoor concert series features local singer-songwriters performing familiar tunes along with their own original songs. Grab a take-out lunch at the Dilworth Park Café or Air Grille and enjoy the music on the PNC Terrace.
