Gorgeous morning to be out...even it was only for plowing. Cabin Grounds are basically ready for the weekend...

Working on ongoing improvements. Now that we have full grounds coverage for WiFi (WhoopWhoop!!)...we have installed key-less entries on all cabins. Working to have folk do prepay by Check or Credit Cards and get signed info via the US Mail at least a week in advance of their rental. Then we can give out cabin access codes and folk can arrive at their leisure vs. needing to see us at arrival for keys and what not. We think it is a clear upgrade for all of us. Working on the logistics now. This will have me spending more quality time on the cabin grounds to catch up with cabin friends - old and new!. Will be contacting folk with reservations by email or snail mail on how this is going down.....

Still waiting for snow to stay....but is is coming...soon. Can't wait to head out on snowshoes for a long afternoon....

Well..the ups and down of technology. Our website service provider got double whammied two days ago...A massive power outage and back-up provider doing an unscheduled upgrade...hence our website and reservation system await reboot....Thankfully it has been a bit slow since it is the Holiday Season. Our apologies to anyone trying to access our website over the last two days....we hope to be back live soon-ish....

Hey Friends...Looking for the best Video calling device. Thinking about Portal by Facebook. Has anyone used it or have one that can tell me anything about it? We do use our phone/computers but some family members like grandchildren and parents don’t have or can't use smart phones and want the ease without turning on a computer to start up and connect to Skype or other apps. The Portal also touts being able to follow the action...but the last reviews I found were dated in 2018. Any input? Thanks.

We have been having a great year at Wapiti Woods. Thanks to all who have stayed with us, liked us, asked about our cabins or just wondered about what our area has to offer. We did some nice upgrades on the Grounds and in the Cabins over the year highlighted by the recent installation of full cabin grounds WiFi coverage. Now it is time for the holiday and winter seasons. Please consider staying with us in the coming months.

We just had a cancellation for our two person Romantic Cabin for a two night stay - Saturday, October 7 to Monday morning, October 9......any interest out there?
