We are currently seeking experienced, motivated and reliable Grounds Maintenance and Mowing foremen and laborers. For 50 years, Ward’s Landscape Service, Inc. has provided the Erie area with high quality, professional landscape maintenance and construction services. All Candidates Must Have:... Valid driver’s license Ability to drive a truck with trailer and pass DOT Physical and Drug Screening Foreman Candidates Must Have: Minimum two years experience in professional landscaping as a foreman Both residential and commercial accounts Using Zero-Turn Walk Behind mowers, push mowers, trimmers, etc Familiarity with common procedures for Spring & Fall Cleanups, Pruning, etc The Ideal Foreman Candidate Will: Consistently arrive on time and prepared to work until the job is complete Maintain professional appearance and attitude Lead by example in adherence to the above laborer requirements Instruct laborers in their tasks and methods Communicate well with clients, laborers and management Track job times and materials used Inspect and account for all equipment used on job Be able to repeatedly lift heavy loads up to 50 Lbs and navigate jobsite terrain Be familiar with proper use of Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) Work effectively in inclement weather Ask questions when unclear of process or assignment Be willing to learn new skills and methods Always make safety and quality paramount Maintain safe and neat jobsites, trucks, trailers and equipment Common Daily Tasks Will Include: Mulching Picking Up Debris Mowing Pruning Leaf Removal Compensation(based upon experience) Foremen: $15 - $18/Hr Laborers: $9 - $12/Hr Great benefits package available Sign-on bonus *APPLY IN PERSON* Monday Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at: Ward’s Landscape Service, Inc. 7860 Lake Pleasant Road Erie, PA 16509
