Over 125 volunteers helped clean up the Lake Clarke region of the Susquehanna River over the course of two weekends as part of the first Annual Plastic Purge of... the Lower Susquehanna. As part of this project over two dumpsters, 50 tires, and 30 plastic barrels were collected. This project was made possible by a partnership between Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards, Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association, Watershed Alliance of York PA, and York County Coalition for Clean Waters. https://extension.psu.edu/master-watershed-stewards-help...
