Unfortunately due to the size limitations imposed by the State the Ordinance Hearing scheduled for tonight at 6pm will be cancelled. It will be rescheduled during the Penn Township Supervisors meeting tonight at 7.

The Nuisance Ordinance Hearing will be tomorrow at 6pm at the Penn Township Building. There are copies of the proposed ordinance and the original 2004 ordinance available at the office if you would like to review prior to the meeting.

Thanks to an expansion of the USDA free meal program, all individuals under the age of 18 living within Susquenita School District are eligible to receive free ...meals until June 2021, not just students registered in our district. Additionally, the District would like to begin offering free meals on the weekend as well. There will be a special meeting of the Penn Township Municipal Authority and the water customers of Sunshine Hills Water Company. It will be an informational meeting held at the Township pavilion 100 Municipal Building Road, Duncannon on Thursday, October 29,2020 at 6:30 rain or shine. All Sunshine Hills Water Company customers are strongly urged to attend.

TRICK-OR-TREAT 2020 Trick-or-Treat in Penn Township is scheduled for Saturday, October 31st from 6 to 8pm. Trick-or-Treat is not a township sponsored event, officials simply set the date and time for those who choose to participate. Residents may escort their children safely through town on that night, visiting the houses of neighbors opting to distribute treats. Everyone involved are reminded to please practice healthy, COVID-19 related safety measures of social distancing,... mask wearing and sanitation. Whether your family chooses to participate or not, let's make this event a safe and fun night for the children of our community!
