West Branch Soccer Club

Our u11 girls traveled to Erinboro this past weekend to play in the PA West tournament. They played at the u12 level for the tournament, winning their first game 3-0 against Kiski, then falling 3-1 to Grove City and lost a heartbreaker to A.B.E. 2-1 on a penalty kick to knock them out of the tournament this year. The girls had an amazing year together and we are looking forward to sending them back to the tournament again next year. Hopefully, we will have even more teams to join them at the state tournament in the future! Congratulations to all the girls, and a special thank you to their coaches, Heidi Warner and Brent McGonigal! and parents we couldn’t do it without you, too! There’s a lot to be proud of here!

Congrats to our u11 girls they are the PA West District 5 League Champions! Today’s game was close, but they pulled off a 4-3 win to remain undefeated! Next up, they will be playing at the state tournament July 18-20th. Good luck girls!!!

THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU to the employees of Avery Dennison for their community service given to the WBSC today! Jim Akeley and his crew cleaned up our raised bed, laid mulch around trees, painted benches, and trimmed the low branches of our pine trees. Besides this Avery Dennison was the first company to commit to our Field Naming Campaign. Thank-you so much Avery and James Akeley!
