West Pittston Tomorrow

For those who have purchased a full size veteran’s banner, we are offering the opportunity to purchase a garden size banner. It is printed on one side and is a duplicate of the larger version. Orders will be taken until November 20, 2020 to insure delivery by the holidays. The cost is $32 per banner. We wanted to let people know that any friend or family member may purchase the smaller version. It does not have to be the person who bought the larger version. You simply need to know the name of the veteran who was honored.

Tonight we are proud to announce that all one hundred twelve 2020 Veterans Banners have been hung. We are already accepting orders for 2021. We would first like to thank the volunteer who put so much time and effort into getting the banners put up. He is a great guy and we truly appreciate all he has done to make this project a success. Next, we would like to thank our police department, especially Chief Michael Turner, who has been keeping us safe while we were hanging the ...banners. Thanks also go out to our fire department who also helped us get the banners hung. Lastly, we want to thank everyone who supported the project. West Pittston Borough Council and Mayor Blaskiewicz who allowed us to hang our banners around the borough. The board of West Pittston Tomorrow who agreed to take on this project. The people who purchased banners to honor a veteran who have shared the stories of these brave men and women who served. We appreciate all of you.
