It has finally come!!! Bingo will be back open starting this Sunday February 14th (valentine’s Day) so bring the love of your life and play some bingo!!! All CDC guidelines will followed and must have a mask on when entering and walking around the bingo hall. Doors will open at 5pm and bingo starts at 7pm

Attention West View residents the polling place for the upcoming June 2nd primary will be at the West View Banquet Hall

The Allegheny County Elections Division on May 15, 2020 issued the full list of consolidated polling place locations for the Tuesday, June 2 primary election. The polling location for the 2020 primary in West View will be the West View Banquet Hall, 398 Perry Highway Pittsburgh, PA. 15229 If this situation makes you uncomfortable or if you are concerned about lines, don’t forget that mail-in voting also is an option this year. The county’s Division of Elections this month wi...ll be mailing mail-in ballot applications to every registered, eligible voter in Allegheny County who has not already submitted an application. Voters don’t have to wait to receive an application but can go online now to VotesPA at www.votespa.com/Pages/default.aspx apply online for a mail-in ballot. The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is Tuesday, May 26 at 5 pm. The deadline to return your completed mail-in ballot is Tuesday, June 2 at 8 pm. With numerous local election board officials being reluctant to serve on Election Day and numerous owners of polling locations expressing concerns regarding exposure to COVID-19, the county approved a resolution to consolidate its more than 1,300 polling locations to about 200 to 300.

To adhere to the guidelines of the CDC and the PA Dept of Health in response to COVID 19 (coronavirus), the West View Volunteer Fire Department has decided to close its weekly bingo held twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday’s) until at least April 1st for the safety of our patrons. The West View VFD will closely monitor the situation and the cancellation is subject to change. It’s beginning to look a lot like holiday engagement season!! The West View Banquet Hall will be open for no appointment hall viewings on Saturdays January 4th and January 18th from 12pm-2pm . Staff will be available with venue information, available dates and catering information. We will be offering a 10% venue discount for weddings that book (with down payment) during either time.
