OUR WEEKLY UPDATE REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM CHRIS KRARAS PRESIDENT OF WHITE STAR TOURS... DEAR FRIENDS: LIVE WITH IT AND LIMIT IT! The motto that I quoted above appears to be the new mantra that is being used throughout the country and throughout the world when referencing the Coronavirus. As I read the reports from experts from around the world, it certainly appears that the trends are for a leveling out of Covid-19 positive tests and certainly a decline in the percentages of mortality. The many explanations that are coming from the experts say that we have all learned how to deal with all the precautions and how to exercise as many of the precautions as possible, such as wearing masks and washing our hands. The hope is that this will continue to allow us to live our lives a little more normally now, and until a satisfactory and full-proof vaccine has been officially distributed. As we mentioned before, several large pharmaceutical companies feel that they now have a suitable vaccine, and they are working towards final testing to be sure these vaccines are safe for all of us and have long-lasting effects. But, that might take a little more time yet, so that is why we are all adopting this motto of Live With It and Limit It! This past week has been very exciting for our Family and Staff here at White Star Tours for a couple of reasons. First of all, our 2021 WHITE STAR TOURS BOOKS have been put in the mail, and most of you should be receiving them within the next couple days, if you didn’t get them already. We are excited because so many of the Group Leaders have begun calling in with their reservations for next year and that energizes all our wonderful Staff here at White Star. Secondly, we continue to send trips to many different locations across the United States and all the reports continue to come back very positive. Even more exciting news is that there are a number of Groups who have reported to us that they have enough people on their buses to complete so many of the Holiday Tours that are available to them in the last two months of this year. This really elevates the spirits of all of us here at White Star. Speaking of our wonderful Family and Staff here at White Star Tours, I just want to signal them out for their continued devotion, passion, and hard work that they have exhibited during this pandemic. As you may know, so many of our Staff Members have been with us for over 30 and 35 years, and they have become like family to us. So, to all of our devoted and caring Members of the Staff at White Star, I extend a special and heartfelt thank you. SO, MY FRIENDS, THAT IS ALL FOR THIS WEEK AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS EMAIL AND FOR ENJOYING SOME OF THIS ENTERTAINMENT. OUR WEEKLY UPDATE REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, SOME VALUABLE INFORMATION FROM CHRIS KRARAS PRESIDENT OF WHITE STAR TOURS... DEAR FRIENDS: THE WORLD IS A BOOK AND THOSE WHO DO NOT TRAVEL, READ ONLY ONE PAGE. When you read the quote that I included above, it sort of clearly defines why we all crave to travel, doesn’t it? As I mentioned in my heading, this is incredibly my 20TH WEEKLY UPDATE. That translates to the fact that it has been over five months since we first were faced with this challenging Pandemic that we are all experiencing. Who would have ever thought way back at the beginning of March, that we would have experienced all that we have over these many weeks and months? But, we did, and now we are continuing to hope and pray that we can satisfy our craving to travel and see the world. As we mentioned over the last couple weeks, there still remains concerns relative to COVID-19 as numbers in different areas of our country continue to spike. But, we are all extremely encouraged by the fact that the mortality rate has dropped significantly. We at WHITE STAR TOURS, along with you as GROUP LEADERS, must continue to maintain a positive outlook. Here at WHITE STAR, we are extremely heartened to get all the wonderful reports that we have been getting from Groups that have been taking our WHITE STAR TOURS to different parts of the country over the last few weeks. We just had two bus loads from Ohio that just completed their tour to Michigan today, and they reported that everyone had a fabulous time and their experience could not have been better. Please enjoy a couple pictures of the Group on this Tour at the bottom of the page. I, and all of us here at WHITE STAR TOURS, hope that you as Group Leaders and your Groups are feeling increased optimism from the reports that major Pharmaceutical Companies feel that they have found the vaccine to help us defeat this terrible Coronavirus. Many reports over the last week have told us that there is a very good chance that the vaccine may be available in large quantities sometime by the end of this year. But, in the meantime, there are very clear indications that, as we all take proper precautions, the risks become minimal. This allows all of our Groups to go on these Tours and explore our country. I hope you and your Group are also excited about that probability, and we look forward to completing your Trips with you over the next few months. SO, THAT IS ALL FOR NOW MY FRIENDS, AND I HOPE YOU GET TO ENJOY ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
