Because our pink petunia is graduating from medical school on her dad’s birthday, Whoodles will close from Thursday, June 3 - Monday, June 7, so that we can attend her graduation! We will reopen Tuesday, June 8 at 9:00 am! Don’t want to be obnoxious about posting this; we just get really concerned about our food clients; don’t want anyone to run out!!!!

Whoodles welcomes John Sielski, our new certified trainer! We couldn’t be more grateful to have him on board! He has a heart for rescues with some issues. Pictured are Scooby, the wolfhound mix whom he and his wife, Kelly rescued about two years ago! Scoobs had some pretty serious fear issues, John and Kelly have worked tirelessly with him, and he has become a wonderfully affectionate companion! John really lives what he teaches walking scooby for well over an hour every day. He’s been known to wear his treat pouch throughout the day when he is home so that he can reinforce Scooby’s training all day long! John has a heart for people too and has a special way of communicating with dog owners that is empowering and never condescending!

I do not have words to express our appreciation and admiration for Miss Natalee! Her skill and patience are second to none. She is the most dependable, gentle, groomer I have ever seen! She is kind and real and her clients really love her and we do too!

Whoodles is looking for the right person to join our grooming team! The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and more interested in quality than quantity. Gentle, handling skills and patience are a must. It is a given that the groomer adores dogs, but we’re looking for a people-lover! Each groomer Hand scrubs and dries her own dog. We do not cage dry. Additionally, groomers completely control their own schedules; there is no pressures to crank out a certain number of dogs per day! Salary is commission-based + tips. Our clients are fabulously gracious. Both part-time and full-time employees enjoy a generous discount on food and merchandise! Interested candidates should call the shop, private message or gmail!

Feeling particularly touched by our clients. MO’s mom brought fresh Hefner’s corn. Bailey’s mom brought fresh tomatoes and included us in an important health decision which is so humbling; Chloe and Xena’s mom supplied us with chocolate muffins! Izzy and Rocky’s mom feeds us on the reg! Mind you, we truly don’t expect any of this. But Whoodles clients have to be the most gracious thoughtful people on the planet! I love doing a puppy’s first groom, especially when he’s in training with us too! It’s so important to get a pup started on the right paw. Grooming should be gentle and relaxing. This is Emerson. He was rescued by Carol Cole! He’s missing an eye, but you’d never know it! He was as good as gold for his entire first groom!
