JOB POSTING - Head Swim Coach Willowood Swim Team, Elizabethtown, PA, is seeking a Head Swim Coach for the 2021 summer season, Mid-May through the end of July. Job Description The Willowood Swim Team is a summer team which is currently part of Division A of the MidPenn Swim League www.swimmpsl.org. It has a long-standing reputation of being a fun team with integrity and great sportsmanship comprised of outstanding swimmers, coaches and parent volunteers. With an average team size of 130 kids (ranging from age 5 to 18) each summer, it is a program that requires organization and discipline from the coaching staff whereby each swimmer can improve their skills within a fun, but competitive atmosphere. We are seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, positive, passionate individual that is knowledgeable in the sport of competitive swimming. The applicant should be one that desires to fit into the existing culture, work well under the guidance of the Board of Directors, and aspire be a longstanding member of the Willowood Swim Team. Qualifications At least 22 years old; College diploma preferred and PA Child Abuse History Clearance Superior knowledge in both technical and training aspects of competitive swimming Able to write and execute training plans and adjust accordingly to the athlete’s abilities Active swimmer and able to coach from in the water as well as from the pool deck Impressive communication skills with regard to inspiring young swimmers both in and out of the pool in addition to being able to communicate with parents regarding their swimmer in a positive and professional manner. Able to set up lane lines, flags, starting blocks, etc. in preparation for practices. Available weekdays from 4-8pm in May-June; 7am-12pm weekdays June end of July; Saturdays 7am-1pm on meet days; Other dates/times upon notification. NEW 'Add-on' Options NEW 'Add-On' Other Resident Adult If you have a third adult in your household you may add them to your account for the current price of a single membership $85. Proof of residency maybe required.... 'Add-On' Caregiver For several years we have offered the option of adding a Caregiver to your account at the price of a single membership $85. The person must be 18 or over and is not resident in your household. NEW 'Add-On' Grandchild A grandchild that is not resident in your household can be added to your account for the price of $50. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT 'ADD-ON' MEMBERS These 'ADD-ON' MEMBERS are attached to your membership. They can only visit the pool with someone else from your membership. MEMBERSHIP CHANGES In order to meet the needs of the ever-changing family situations, Willowood Swim Club has reworded our membership types and created 'add-ons' for your pool membership. Adults... The two named adults on an account no longer need to be married/spouses. If the two adults reside in the same household, they may have a couple/family membership. Proof of residency maybe required. Children Children are no longer defined as dependent children. Please see below for criteria All children MUST be unmarried AND resident in your household All Children MUST be Under the age of 21 OR If Over 21 MUST be full-time students We ask at this time, if you have someone on your account that no longer meets the above criteria, that you remove them from your account or contact us to do so.

It was brought to our attention that a political sign was posted at the pool. This sign has been removed. Anyone found putting up signs at Willowood, without prior permission from the board of directors, will be prosecuted. ... We apologize for any harm that this has caused.
