On Saturday, attendees of the virtual third annual Creative Writing Colloquium had the opportunity to learn from accomplished writers, Alicia Drumgoole and Manuel Iris. The Zoom audience got the inside scoop on how to improve their writing, get published and were also treated to poetry readings by Manuel.

The big top tent is back on the Main Green of campus for an animal care majors open house this Saturday and we are looking forward to another successful event. Here is a picture from Wilson College Equestrian taken at the last animal care open house. Even our horses know how to socially distance.

Wilson College is hosting a Virtual Veterinary Nursing Career Fair on November 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no charge for this but veterinary practices need to register at https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fa//employer_preview Here are the steps to follow: 1. Create an account on handshake and select Wilson College (note, don’t select all colleges) 2. Let [email protected] know you have created an account and she will approve you... 3. Register for the Career Fair, you can have as many employers as you need 4. Please set both 1-1 sessions and group sessions, the 1-1 are 10 minute blocks and the group are 30 minutes, students can sign up for either or both, you will know at what time you will be meeting with a student. 5. The more detailed you can be about your practice the more likely students are to set up times to meet with you. This is a great opportunity for veterinary practices to find their next awesome employees.
