Huge congratulations to our ladies’ trilevel team captained by Kristine Criswell. They captured the district title today for Central Penn and will advance to sectionals at Hershey in February. If anyone is familiar with this team, they’ve been close to this stage what seems like every season since it’s inception back in 2013. They’re an amazing example of perseverance during a year where we need it most. Way to go ladies! We are so proud! #playingfortheW #wisehaven

2021 is here and it’s time to pick ourselves up again! Wisehaven will be resuming our normal operating hours on Monday, January 4th. It’s a new year and there are a lot of tennis players out there looking to get involved. Here’s how you can maximize your time on the court this year:... Junior and Adult Clinics (52 weeks per year) USTA Mixed Doubles Teams (6.0-8.0) at 18+ and 55+ age groups In-House Singles Leagues (3.0-5.0) Weekend Doubles Round Robins Private Lessons with our staff of 7 teaching professionals 15+ USTA junior tournaments per year 12 Adult Tournaments per year 2021 will be a year to remember... Dear Members and Friends, It is with much regret that Wisehaven Tennis Center must cease regular operation in the midst of more regulations from our state government effective Saturday, December 12th until Monday, January 4th. We have offered a safe environment for enjoyable tennis up to this point, but we cannot ignore the sharp rise in cases. ... Our first priority will always be the safety of our members and staff, so unfortunately we are pausing all programming (USTA leagues, adult clinics, junior development clinics, tournaments, and doubles contracts) with the exception of private lessons and singles play. Please contact Phil Myers directly (717-880-3004) if you would like to schedule a lesson with one of our pro staff over the next three weeks or if you have any questions in general. Trouble in the Bubble, which was originally scheduled for December 18-20, will be rescheduled for January at a date to be determined. Contract members will have the opportunity to make up missed courts throughout the rest of the indoor season or have those missed weeks tacked on to the end of their contract in May. Junior Development members will be able to roll their last week of Session 2 over into Session 3. We will continue to communicate as we approach our targeted reopening date of January 4th. Announcing the next stop in the Wisehaven Adult Tournament Circuit. Our 4th Annual Trouble in the Bubble (TitB) will feature mixed doubles draws in addition to the usual men’s and women’s draws for the first time ever. The schedule has already been laid out over the weekend so for more details contact Phil Myers directly (717-880-3004). The deadline to enter is 12/13 at 6pm and don’t wait because we have added limits for draw size.
