The police department recently investigated thefts from vehicles of West Manheim Township residents. The suspect(s) entered our resident’s vehicles and stole personal information as well as credit cards. The suspect attempted to utilize the stolen credit card at the Gamestop in Hanover, PA. If you are able to identify the suspect in this photo please contact the West Manheim Township Police Department at (717) 632-7059. Please remember to always lock your vehicle and remove valuable items when you exit the vehicle.

Several incidents occurred involved scams to our elderly population resulting in financial loses to our resident...s. Several incidents also occurred involving swatting incidents. **MISSING PERSON FOUND SAFE** On 9/02/20 at about 4:20 AM, WMTPD received a call for a missing and endangered adult who walked off into a wooded area in the 800 block Frogtown Road. Efforts to locate the missing person intensified throughout the morning with officers making use of tracking canines, drones and ATVs. At about 9:57 AM, the missing adult was located by one of the drones where she was observed slumped over in a field beside a treeline. Officers were directed to ...her location where she was found safe. The patient was assessed by EMS, declined further treatment and returned to her residence. WMTPD wishes to thank all agencies assisting in the search effort to include the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Company, Fire Police and EMS including two ATV units, West Manheim Twp. EMA, West Manheim Twp. Public Works Department, York County Sheriff's Office with two canines, Summit Search and Rescue with canine, First Tracks Search and Rescue with canine, PA State Police SERT drone operator and a second police authorized drone operator.
