We enjoyed meeting several prospective Women's Giving Circle members at yesterday's Orientation. The conversations and food were delightful!

Women's Giving Circle members and guests were recently treated to a bus tour of York City's newest projects. Leading the tour were YCEA President Kevin Schreiber and YCEA Vice President Silas Chamberlin. Additional speakers included Danielle Stehman, Architect with Buchart Horn; Terri Altland, Director of Development with the York County History Center; Dr. Pamela Gunter-Smith, President of York College of PA; Jeff Vermeulen, Executive Director of York College's J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship; Elaine Bonneau, Director of Downtown Inc. We are pictured here in front of the Downtown York sign at PeoplesBank Park. As you can see, we had a wonderful time!

Women's Giving Circle members enjoyed learning about the Edgar Fahs Smith STEAM Academy from Superintendent Dr. Eric Holmes, Principal Craig Linn, STEAM Coordinator Jan Martin, and several well-spoken students. These students are working every day on real-life issues using critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. We are excited for our community's future with these young people!
