As the president of the Western PA Earthdog Club, I thank the members of the Club for all of their hard work and financial support for the wonderful Earthdog weekend. It takes a team of dedicated people who love their dogs and Earthdog to make the this test weekend possible. Thank you, WPEC members and thanks to the awesome ED judges Marian Shaw, Brenda Weintraub, Pat Rock and Gail Warnick. What a line up of excellent judges! We attracted ED devotees not only from local PA z...ipcodes but across our State, NJ, VA, and MD. Our ED handlers had wonderful Dachshunds and Small Terriers who barked or dug or chewed their way to try and meet the safe and secure rats. Both handlers and dogs had tons of fun. We bid a sad farewell to our ED test site home since the inception of the Club in 2003--Woodside, one of God's most picturesque settings on Earth. Our thanks to Bob and Sandy Patterson for allowing our Club to use their beautiful grounds. We look forward to hosting our test weekend in Indiana, PA at Winterwinds Farm. This weekend June 20 &21st Western Pennsylvania Earthdog Club will have an Earthdog Clinic with AKC Earthdog Judge Connie Fisher. All levels welcome! Costs is $20 for Saturday and $15 for Sunday. For more information please message this page. Lunch is available with a reservation. Please note masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
