WPQHA is deeply saddened about the news of the passing of Carolyn Colvin. Carolyn was a life long supporter of WPQHA. Carolyn was a kind, caring, and always put everyone above herself. She touched each and every person she came in contact with left an everlasting mark on them! She will be deeply missed! Prayers to her family, friends, and barn family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Western Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association; 89 Kinsman Rd, Greenville, PA 16125 Patricia J., 72, of Greenville. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (8-28-20) in LOUTZENHISER-JORDAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 366-368 S. Main St., Greenville. Mass of Christian burial: 10 a.m. Saturday (8-29-20) in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, with Rev. Christopher Barnes, pastor of the church as celebrant. Burial: St. Michael Cemetery. DUE To the Dusty Boots Riding Club canceling their point shows for 2020, WPHC is going to cancel our 2020 June 20-21 Open Show. We our looking forward to having two week-ends in 2021. WPQHA regrets that we must cancel our May 22-25 show at the WPQHA Show Complex due to the PA Govern Wolf rule on no more then 25 people in a gathering space. At this time, Lawrence County, is in the yellow phase. Until it is moved to the green phase we can not proceed with a show. We have spent hours in phone calls and emails to Departments in Pennsylvania in trying to put this show circuit on for our exhibitors. We understand everyone wants to get back in the show pen, but ...we must follow the orders of our county. As everyone in our country we are monitoring the situation and trying to make the right solution for all exhibitors, trainers, owners, and employees. Our Governor’s next announce is June 1st and hopefully before that. We will make adjustments at that time if need be. BUT we are planning our June 5 (Novice show) June 6th-7th (with 4 judges in 2 days) Thank you everyone for showing all your support and we hope to see you all soon. See more
