This will be the location of four new columbariums this fall 2016. An arch new driveway and concrete walkway will add a garden plaza feel to this area.
The Unity Cemetery Association has approved the installation of four new columbariums to be completed by fall 2016. This addition will add to the beauty and serenity of this historic cemetery.
On Saturday, November 9, 2013 a 150th anniversary of The Battle of Gettysburg Memorial Program was presented in Honor of the Civil War Veterans Interred in Unity Cemetery. It was presented by the Westmoreland County Historical Society and the Latrobe Historical Society. The program was held in historic Unity Chapel to honor those who served.
