Evidence for Radiation Hormesis Was Not Refuted in the Online Debate. Discarding the LNT model may pay substantial dividends in terms of human health and prosperity. https://www.x-lnt.org/press-release-on-debate-dec-2-2020
There was a deadly natural gas explosion in Durham, NC today. These natural gas explosions keep happening periodically. Natural gas is inherently dangerous, but our society has chosen to use it in a big way. About a third of energy used in the USA comes from natural gas. A much wiser course would have been to choose safer sources of energy for producing electricity, heating homes, cooking, etc. Guess what is the safest source of energy? Nuclear. Whereas a leak in a local gas ...line led to this deadly explosion, major accidents in nuclear power plants in Fukushima in 2011 did not cause any deaths, vividly demonstrating the inherent safety of nuclear power. But for the fear-mongers who spread the fear of low levels of radiation (in spite of considerable evidence showing low levels of radiation prevent cancers), nuclear power would have been very cheap and have flourished, and we would not have needed to use the deadly natural gas. I would blame these fear-mongers for today's deadly accident and for many deaths due to the use of other energy sources. https://www.heraldsun.com/news/local/article226255170.html
