Yeadon Fire Co #1, Yeadon Borough Police, Darby Fire Co # 1, Lansdowne Fire Co (Oneninetruck), and Mercy EMS MICU16 were on scene of a working fire on the 500-blk of Holly Rd this morning. Originally dispatched for a fire alarm, Engine 16 arrived and found a working fire in the kitchen. Crews were on scene for about an hour. No injuries were reported.

5 members are currently taking a Truck Academy class at the PA State Fire Academy in Lewistown, in the Resident Fire Academy program sponsored by Pennsylvania Office of the State Fire Commissioner. Yesterday, Company 16 was dispatched to the 600 block of Arbor Rd in Yeadon Borough for the reported house fire. Upon arrival of E16 found smoke showing from the residence, crews had fire on 2 floors. No injuries reported. Captain 16 had command. Thank you to all assisting!
