Breakfast Break: Trail mix, banana and granola...more water please Lunch Break: Roasted yam, sweet onion, bell pepper, broccoli / Brussel sprouts drizzled with a little oil, balsamic, salt and pepper served over jasmine rice. Adding mung beans, toasted pine nuts or pumpkin seeds is a nice option. Afternoon Break: Sliced apple with nut butter How to Prepare for a Virtual Day Retreat: Carve out the time for you. Let your family and loved ones know that you will be busy that day or invite them to join you. Set up your PC, laptop, tablet or phone so you can see and participate easily. Download Zoom and set it up. (A meeting ID will be sent for login) Get your yoga mat and any supplies you may want, i.e.: blocks, strap, blankets, pillows and/or a meditation cushion. Get some earbuds or borrow some for the walking meditation. Keep a water bottle close by and stay hydrated. Have a journal / notebook and pen handy. PowerPoint Slides will be sent out to all participants. Prepare your food and snacks ahead of time so they are easily accessible. Login 10 - 15 minutes early to ensure a good connection.
