Youngwood Top Dog Services

Mom has been super busy these past couple weeks making some very special bracelets and earrings for our new collection in the Etsy shop called "Sparkles for Sno...uts." This is a special fundraiser collection where 50% of the purchase price will go to fund our therapy dog plush drive. Every year our therapy dog team delivers plush dogs and bears to the residents we visit at the nursing homes. Even though we can't go into the nursing homes this year, Mr. Rodney is working on a special delivery procedure where the residents can still see us through the doors. If there are enough dogs and bears we will also deliver to the small humans that we visit at schools and Head Start. Well... the other dogs will deliver those because I still don't know about those small humans. They are kind of loud and scary and I prefer to social distance from them. Unless they have food. That's a game changer. Anyway, the dogs and bears come from a place in the mall that we visit on our therapy outings called Kay Jewlers. Part of the money from the dogs and bears gets donated to a place called St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which Mom says is place with special doctors for small humans who get very sick. The donations help pay for their treatment even if their parents don't have enough money. This sounds suspiciously like a small human V-E-T, but Mom swears it's a GOOD place because it helps the small humans get better. My goal is to donate a box of dogs, which costs about $207. Since I can't find a side job that pays me to eat, sleep, and be handsome, mom offered to make some things I can sell in my store to help raise the money. My name is Coal and I’m a 4 year old mixed breed dog. I’m currently in training with Team Top Dog. The people at Pet Friends say that I am a very strong, energetic, happy and ruggedly handsome fellow who sometimes has a hard time controlling his enthusiasm. Since I can get excited easily, I would do best in a calm household, with human companions that can give me structure and are willing to keep me busy enough to burn off all my excess mental and physical energy. Becaus...e I am a big strong guy who sometimes gets over-enthusiatic, it would be better for me to live in a home that does not have small children. I also might be able to live in a house with other medium to large dogs, but I would have to meet them first to see if we see eye to eye. Please, however, no cats I don’t like them at all. If you’re the right home for me, I will give you a level of love, loyalty, companionship and entertainment that is equal to my level of enthusiasm for life. As a bonus, I can guarantee that people will compliment you on having such a good-looking dog, and how can that not make you feel good! Youngwood Top Dog has committed to helping train me and anybody who adopts me will receive one free in-home training session, as well as three free credits to come to the trail walking class to help me learn and grow together with you. We are so proud of this Therapy Preparation Class! The past 4 weeks these pups have taken all the necessary training tools and showed us that they can apply them to real life. They have one week left until they official join the Top Dog Therapy School!!!

Our Therapy Dog Preparation School Training continues to go excellent!! All the dogs are learning all the proper training tools that they need to know when they enter a medical facility or children’s program. Great job to all the pups and all the parents! Keep up the great work!!
