Young People's Chorus of Erie

Who else is excited for Hamilton to be released on Disney+ this weekend? I bet our Chorale choristers are! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit a few historic landmarks from the show during Chorale's 2018 tour to New York City. On our way into the city, we stopped at the site of the duel in Weehawken (check out that view!) We also visited Trinity Church in Manhattan, where Alexander Hamilton, his wife Eliza, and many others are buried.

Parents play a huge role in any youth organization, and the Young People's Chorus of Erie is no different. To all of our YPC Erie parents, past and present, we are so grateful for all that you have done to support your child and the chorus. You have volunteered during concerts, chaperoned Chorale tour and Cantare day trip, carpooled so that every child had a ride to rehearsal, participated in our fundraisers, and simply showed up to honor your child's hard work. We can't say "thank you" enough.

Thank you to the Benedictine Sisters of Erie for hosting the Young People's Chorus of Erie for concerts in 2018 and 2019. The chorus enjoyed every minute of singing in the beautiful sanctuary at Mount Saint Benedict Monastery.

Congratulations to YPC Erie's graduating seniors: Kamryn, Arielle, Katie, Veronica, and Nadia! These young women exemplify what it means to be a YPC Erie chorister. They have been leaders in their sections, mentors and friends to younger choristers, and are all-around wonderful human beings. We are so proud of each of you, and can't wait to see where life takes you next!
