Good morning Landis Valley friends! Today is the last day of our online benefit auction. It closes at 5pm. We would like to thank everyone that has placed bids or made donations through the auction page. Pictured are some of our chickens enjoying a moon and stars watermelon from our garden. Both the chickens and the watermelon represent two programs at the museum that need your support. Our Heirloom Seed Project and the Farm Program help to keep alive the farming practices an...d heirloom seeds of past generations of Pennsylvania Germans that lived in this area. Currently, without the help of countless volunteers that would normally be helping with these programs, we have a staff of three people working so hard to keep it all going but it is a real challenge. Having been closed since mid-March, there is no steady income to support these programs. Please consider placing a bid or making a donation today (any amount is helpful!) and help keep these programs going. To visit the auction site or make a donation up until 5pm today go to https://go.eventgroovefundraising.com/32f926 See more
