Parents, Advantage Lancaster is looking for 5 children who are willing to learn the game of tennis this winter! Once a week Advantage Lancaster will host a tennis clinic on Saturday’s from 12:30 to 2:30 at an indoor facility. We will have tennis racquets for rent and instructors ready to teach the game. You do not have to be an Advantage Lancaster student. But you must have a great attitude and a willingness to learn. Your child will be pushed out of their comfort zone but they will make great gains both on and off the court! The cost is $20 for the winter session. Faces Against Racism was an idea that came about in light of the racial tensions following the George Floyd murder, among the many other wrongful deaths at the hands of police violence. The faces depicted in this series are of people that, regardless of any other differences, stand together around one thing; a desire for civil equity. Each individual photographed has donated $100, all of which is being given to Lancaster based black owned community organizations. Together, th...e people of Lancaster have raised over $10,000. The success of this fundraiser is a testimony that speaks to the strength of our community . The funds will be going to the following organizations: @advantagelancaster @decacityfarms @lancaster_naacp and three artist grants through the help of @lgbtqcoalition . First day of the Advantage Lancaster Fall Tennis program. Meet some new faces, shared more than a few laughs and learned some of the basics of tennis! Back at it again Thursday!

Advantage Lancaster's Fall Tennis Program begins Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 from 4 - 6 PM. Practice will be held in the tennis courts of County Park (585 Golf Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602) Each Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm to 6pm (weather permitting) Advantage Lancaster's NJTL Tennis program will offer tennis instruction to children between the ages of 11-17. No prior experience is necessary but a great attitude is mandatory! Advantage Lancaster tennis instructor Larry Zerbee... will teach children the fundamentals of the game, while incorporating the importance of hard work and having fun. Tennis racquets will be loaned to players for the duration of the program. Players should dress in athletic attire and proper footwear. Spots are limited! Register your child today. There is a $20 fee for tennis racquet rental, water and a program t-shirt.
