Most of time we talk about the physical benefits of working out, which is very important, but improving yourself mentally is equally as important Exercising can enhance your mood, energy & self-esteem These workouts will build muscle endurance, tone + release endorphins which will BOOST your mood! ... We want to envision building our strength from the inside-out.... Recognize the strength and energy you have which will then shift your confidence! Having confidence will build your self-esteem If you are pregnant, this is just as essential! Pregnancy changes our bodies physically and mentally we want to maintain our strength, confidence, positive mood & self-esteem!! Love these compound exercises that train from fingertips to toes! Grab a light weight (3-5lbs) and engage those glutes 8 weeks pregnant here On days I felt more exhausted I used lighter weights, took more water breaks and focused on my form & breathing. . . . . #pregnancyfitness #fitpregnancy #fitnessforwomen #mamaworkout #barreforpregnancy #prenatalbarre #prenatalworkout #fitnessformoms #sahmworkout #wahm #barreinstructor #barrefitness #barreworkoutathome #8weekspregnant #3rdpregnancy #pregnancyjourney #fitnesspregnancy #moodbooster #energyshift #selfesteembuilding #positivepregnancy

Booty Lift + Core Strength Control your movements and move with purpose. We always need to be thinking about the muscles we are working and fire them up throughout our workouts We can use these tips in any phase of our workout journey to benefit us ... In terms of working out when pregnant I like to focus on the positive You want to thrive throughout your pregnancy journey Think about enhancing your ENDURANCE, STRENGTH & your MIND! It’s important to create a specific training approach to strengthen your muscles and gain endurance where you will need it the most Easier labor, quicker recovery, prepare for the physical demands of motherhood + a more comfortable & enjoyable pregnancy Fire up your glutes & activate your core on these exercises Don’t forget to breath!! Exhale on the effort and engage. 2 exercises back-to-back 1. As you fully extend your leg across your body, rotate you knee slightly, open up your hips & drop down to your opposite elbow. 2. Add a weight behind the knee for resistance. *using a 6lb weight* For both exercises bring that knee in forward toward your arm to incorporate more muscle activation & always maintain that strong alignment! A little over 7 weeks pregnant here Having experience with 2 completely different pregnancies before this one...I plan to really focus on preparing my body for the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy, labor, delivery and motherhood.

Core training is one of the most beneficial things you can do throughout your pregnancy + any stage of your life! We’re talking about your deep core muscles transverse abdominals, pelvic floor & diaphragm. You will want to maintain your core strength through safe and effective exercises ... In general I stay away from crunches, sit-ups, deep twisting motions + any movements that can add stress to the abdominal wall or anything that domes the belly which can cause Diastsis Recti (abdominal separation)! Important Learn how to breathe correctly and properly engage those muscles through breathing don’t suck it in & don’t hold your breath!! Having a strong core Help relieve pelvic & back pain More comfortable pregnancy Easier labor Quicker postpartum recovery Reduce risk of Diastasis Recti Better posture Reduce Risk of Pelvic Floor Disfunction Improve your digestion Increased energy for your pregnancy Better endurance for labor + delivery! Bounce back quicker Help maintain neutral alignment Gives you confidence I was about 8 weeks pregnant here Throughout my first trimester it felt good to keep moving my body, plus take lots of naps 3lb weights and a barre ball . . . . . #pregnancyworkouts #pregnant #8weekspregnant #fitpregnancy #fitpregnancytips #preggofit #barre #barreworkout #barrechoreography #prenatalbarre #prenatalworkout #prenatalfitness #mommyfitness #fitnesspregnancy #1sttrimesterworkout #1sttrimester #coreworkout #coreexercises #coreworkoutvideo #pregancycore #momtrainer #barrefitness

I love a good hip bridge variation Let’s focus on why it’s essential to train our glutes, BUT first.... Important These 1st Trimester Exercises that I will be sharing over the next couple of posts aren’t just for mamas that are pregnant ... These exercises will benefit everyone in all stages of fitness levels! It’s important for everyone to strengthen your muscles, learn to connect and active your core & improve mobility in your workouts When you are in your 1st Trimester you can most likely continue whatever workout routine you were doing with your doctor’s approval But keep in mind, if you’re feeling exhausted or nauseous, it’s ok to rest your body It’s also ESSENTIAL for pregnant mamas to start to prepare for the journey ahead of them....We’ll get more into that another day Why do we work the glutes during pregnancy?! Keep that booty lifted!! Reduce pregnancy related pains Reduce your risk of injury Help prevent back pain Help strengthen your pelvic floor Keep our muscles that support our hips, pelvic floor and core strong Maintain a strong lower body that will make your pregnancy more comfortable Help support the extra weight you’ll be carrying Make it easier to get back into working out post delivery. Maintain stability in your hips, spine & knees. Gives you strength for an easier labor and delivery Maintain muscle definition throughout your pregnancy. Quicker postpartum recovery I am around 7 weeks pregnant in this video. Felt exhausted a lot throughout my first trimester. But working out ALWAYS made me feel better. I never pushed through it...I just did what made me feel good Modify Perform exercise with no weights. Keep your hands placed on the ground beside your hips for extra stability. Take smaller step outs from your body . . . . . #fitpregnancy #pregnantworkout #pregnancyworkouts #pregnantfitness #1sttrimesterworkout #1sttrimester #7weekspregnant #fitnessforpregnancy #momfitness #momworkouts #workoutathomemom #busymomworkout #prenatalfitness #prenatalcare #prenatalexercise #workoutsformoms #hipbridge #glutebridge #pregnantlowerbodyworkout #momexercises
