DIGNEY is a 6 year old, average size, Bully/Boxer mix whose comic personality always bring a smile. Last time I took him, he barked the entire way the kennel to the car as if to say "I'm outa here". EMMYLOU is a gorgeous, eight year old, silver tabby. Through no fault of her own, EMMYLOU was surrendered and has been at Angel Ridge for almost a year. Some cats bounce back from the shock of losing their home & family. But for many others, like EMMYLOU, the loss is devastating. When she arrived, she was fearful of the other cats. She wanted attention but didn't trust the volunteers. She spent a lot of time in the back of her cage. But EMMYLOU has slowly started to par...ticipate in the daily routine at the shelter. At meal times, she'll rub-up against the volunteer's legs and she enjoys a few pets. We discovered she loves to play with puff balls and will bring them back & wait for another toss. EMMYLOU was come along way since she first arrive. We believe in a home environment she'll progress even more. EMMYLOU still doesn't like other cats and needs to go to a forever home as an only cat. EMMYLOU is a sweet girl and has lots of love to give. She needs a human(s) who will continue to nurture her. BUSTER is our gentleman dog. He is a senior, large (70 lbs), Lab/Bully mix who had been living in horrendous conditions. BUSTER knows all about the value of a good home and shows all the attributes of a rescue dog - grateful, loyal, and content, BUSTER has great housebreaking skills, know commands, and walks well on a leash. BUSTER has a big boy bark but it is basically bluster. He is quite amiable and is used to living with other dogs. Our dogs benefit when you like and share their posts. RANGER is one of the best looking dogs I've ever seen. He is a 3 year old, smaller (48 lbs), Husky mix who is friendly, alert, and sweet. RANGER seems amiable to other dogs but will want to play in a rough, tough Husky way. He has a fluffy coat that I could pet all day. I tell RANGER "Let's cuddle". RANGER tells me "Let's explore". We do a little of both. RANGER has excellent housebreaking skills, knows commands, and walks well on a leash. He should not live with cats. Our dogs benefit when you like and share their posts. He presses paws COOKIE is our hysterical 2 year old, average size, Border Collie mix who is friendly, fun, and intelligent. COOKIE has some reactivity issues to new people but with medication and training, she is ready for adoption. She is housebroken, follows commands, and walks well on a leash. Her potential adopter will be delighted with all her training. Her adopter should be an adult without children or other animals. Angel Ridge will assist in COOKIE’S transition to a permanent home.
