Candys Place October Fundraiser! This month we're raising money for Candy's Place in Forty Fort, PA. They're a non-profit cancer and wellness center created to help those suffering as well as their families. They have the backing of the Susan G Koman Foundation as well. Trunk or Treat!!! for Breast Cancer Awareness Time and Date: October 23rd from 12-4pm We are holding a Trunk or Treat for our members and community! Bring your vehicles early and decorate them for a chance to win an award for "Best Display"! This is meant to give kids a safe place to trick or treat and give the adults a way to come together as a community. ... We'll be taking donations towards the Breast Cancer Foundation as well. If you'd like to enter your "parking space" for our best display contest, we're asking a $5 entry fee which will go towards our donation bucket! We encourage ALL members to get involved in this event and come in your best costumes! All businesses are welcome to come and join us as well! See you then!

October: Member of the Month- Chris Walsh This months member spotlight is Chris Walsh! Chris is shockingly 45 years old has been a member here since Jan 2020 and has been nothing but consistent. He is a father of 4 which makes his commitment and consistency all that much more impressive! Chris is self employed while running his recruiting firm, Walsh Search Group. He's also roots for the Red Sox and tries to catch every Red Sox game that he can....... which makes me regret ev...en choosing him for this heralded award (Go Mets!). His free time is spent rooting for his sports teams as well as watching his 4 kids play their own sports! Member of the Month questionnaire: What do you like the most about Anytime Fitness, and what keeps you coming? Chris- "I love the fact that I never have to wait on equipment... even when it's busy, everyone flows well. You'll never get that logjam issue other gyms have. Tom is also awesome and is always poking around checking on peoples workouts" What are your favorite exercises to do in the gym? Chris- "Incline dumbbell presses or hammer curls. Awesome pump from those." What would you say to someone on the edge of signing up at Anytime Fitness? Chris- "Just take a shot. You will not regret it. The gym is always clean. The members are all friendly and cool to chat with. There isnt an exercise you can't do between the equipment and the purple turf area. Tom will motivate you and hold you accountable if needed.... just stop in and see him, it'll change your life." Chris said that like many of us, Covid really changed his life and specifically.... his outlook on what HEALTHY means. Chris- " It's one thing to eat right, but proper exercises were needed to see my plan through. I have been here since January of 2020 and i not only see the PHYSICAL improvements in my life.... but also the MENTAL and EMOTIONAL improvements as well." If you catch Chris around the gym, stop him and give him a fist bump and tell him " good job!". He's dedicated and doing great stuff. If you see anyone killing it at the gym and doing great things, please let me know! We love featuring members that are doing their best to become their healthiest selves!!!
