No doubt this year has been..well, downright awful. I'm sure it's been tough on all of you out there in one way or another. It's been tough on my family in many ways and I've been through quite a lot this year, personally. But for some reason God saw fit to give me the support of this man. This Thanksgiving, when it seems hard to be thankful for much, I am so thankful for him. I'm thankful for his encouragement, his prayers, his time, his laughter, his loyalty, his persistence, his resolve and his gentle strength.

I'm so glad they reminded me to wear comfy shoes...I may have come in wearing my heels!

I have a feeling I'm gonna turn into that mom. Ya know, the kind that shares way too many pictures of her baby. But she's so darn cute! This little girl brings me so much joy.
