Happy Thanksgiving! BARDS gives thanks to all those who supported and believed in us this year. It was a tough one, but we made it. Thank you. #gratitude

BARDS was able to secure a donation from a business owner in Spring City, PA. Two stainless steel tables were delivered to the pool Snack Shack and a giant commercial refrigerator was delivered to The Ricketts Center in Pottstown to help area families in need. Special thanks to Queen Appliance Retail & Wholesale for providing the labor and transport. Yet another example of a Pennsylvania company who cares about community!!! #grateful

BAGS AWAY! With the help of about 25 volunteers. Over 800 bags of donated clothing were loaded onto the clothingdrive.net 26 ft box truck in exactly one hour. It was an incredible effort with help from Bally Mennonite Church, and friends of the Bally Area Recreational Development Society and supporters of the Bally Community Pool. Thank you to donors and volunteers alike!!!

Winners of the BARDS Holiday Basket raffle were chosen by Dave Schott Mayor Of Bally. Winners will be notified by phone and will claim their basket at the Borough Office. Thanks to our supporters and volunteers, the raffle raised just over $1000 to benefit the Bally Community Pool and Park. Congratulations and Happy Holidays to all.

BARDS Clothing Drive Update: 745 bags. Not bad for a first-time. Thank you everyone!!! BTW-Our contracted pickup company (clothingdrive.net) has delayed their pickup date until Nov. 21. This means we can still accept a couple hundred more bags until then. Need to drop off? Call (484) 241-5490

BARDS volunteers are waiting for clothing bag dropoffs. We are caffeinated and waiting for YOU at the Bally Mennonite Church in Bally, until noon.

REMINDER: 5-7PM clothing DROPOFF tonight...also 7AM to Noon tomorrow. Will we get to 900 bags? We have just over 600 right now. Drive up and dropoff at the Bally Mennonite Church across from Redners Quick Shop. Bally Area Recreational Development Society is thankful for every bag donated! This is our first ever attempt at a clothing drive to raise funds for the Bally Community Pool and park. Special thanks to the Bally Mennonite Church for allowing us storage space. We couldn't have done it otherwise. We'll post the final results tomorrow night! #community

BARDS Closet Cleanout Fundraiser UPDATE: we reached 604 bags last night!! The clothingdrive.net truck can only hold 900. Will we get the last 296 this Friday and Saturday? We will with your help! Friday dropoff is 5-7PM and Saturday is 7AM to Noon.

LOCAL EVENT: The Trinity Lutheran church is having a chicken pot-pie quart sale Saturday Oct 10 from 9am till 1pm. Pre-orders can be picked up in the church parking lot and will be kept until 12 noon. Price is $8.00 a quart. Sandy & Joshua did their last day of Holiday Basket Raffle ticket sales at JAKE'S FLEA MARKET A big thank you to Jakes and their shoppers. Total raised for the 2020 raffle: $1108.00. Another record for BARDS! Drawing by Mayor Of Bally is Nov. 12th...stayed tuned. Winners will be called and can pickup their basket prizes at Bally Borough Hall at 425 Chestnut St, Bally.
